Resumen: Is responsible for supporting the procurement process by executing purchase orders, monitoring supplier performance, and ensuring the availability of materials required for production.This position plays a key role in managing the Material Requirements Planning (MRP) system, maintaining inventory levels, and supporting cost-efficient sourcing within the metal-mechanical manufacturing environment.
**Responsabilidades**:**Main Responsibilities**:- Execute purchase orders according to MRP signals and production requirements.
- Maintain updated records of suppliers, lead times, and material availability.
- Monitor delivery schedules to ensure timely material supply and prevent production delays.
- Coordinate with production, engineering, and logistics teams to align material flow with operational needs.
- Follow up with suppliers regarding order confirmations, shipping status, and delivery performance.
- Support the negotiation of prices, payment terms, and delivery conditions under supervision.
- Track and resolve discrepancies related to invoices, quantities, or quality issues.




- Maintain accurate data in ERP/MRP systems and prepare purchasing reports.
- Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to optimize procurement processes.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and supplier management procedures.
**Qualifications**:- Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Business Administration, International Trade, or related field (recent graduate or 1-2 years of experience).
- Knowledge of MRP/ERP systems (SAP, Oracle, or similar).
- Basic understanding of supply chain, purchasing, and inventory control.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication, organizational, and analytical skills.
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (written and spoken).
