Senior Operations Lead – Analytics Platform

Role Overview

The Operations Lead will oversee the day-to-day operations of an analytics platform across the LatAm region, acting as the primary link between technical teams and business stakeholders. This role is responsible for ensuring platform reliability, coordinating issue resolution, supporting analytics products, and driving continuous operational improvements across a distributed, cross-functional environment.

Key Responsibilities

- Manage daily operations of the analytics platform across the LatAm region.
- Serve as the primary point of contact for regional stakeholders on data and analytics needs.
- Coordinate with Data Engineering and BI teams on data pipelines and dashboard maintenance.
- Monitor platform performance, data availability, and data quality.
- Triage, track, and escalate data quality issues, providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Maintain documentation for operational processes, workflows, and system architecture.
- Gather stakeholder feedback and communicate priorities to the central team.
- Support stakeholder onboarding and provide training on BI tools and self-service analytics.
- Participate in incident response and post-incident reviews.
- Drive process improvements through automation and operational optimization.





Required Qualifications

- 10–11 years of experience in analytics, data operations, or related fields.
- 5+ years in an Operations Lead, Team Lead, or similar leadership role.
- 3+ years supporting production analytics platforms.
- Experience supporting retail or e-commerce organizations.
- Strong stakeholder management and communication skills.
- Advanced SQL skills, including writing and debugging queries.
- Hands-on experience with:
- Snowflake
- dbt

- Experience with BI tools such as:

- Tableau
- ThoughtSpot

- Solid understanding of:

- Data pipelines
- ETL/ELT processes
- Data quality monitoring and alerting

- Basic Python scripting skills.

Preferred Qualifications

- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Statistics, or a related field.
- Master's degree preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Excellent problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.
- Experience working effectively within distributed, cross-functional teams.
