Responsible for overseeing daily production operations to ensure compliance with safety, quality, productivity, and delivery objectives. This position manages production resources efficiently while promoting continuous improvement initiatives and maintaining operational excellence within the manufacturing environment.

Mains Responsibilities:

Supervise and coordinate daily production operations across manufacturing areas.
Ensure compliance with the production schedule based on customer requirements and operational planning.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) related to safety, quality, productivity, efficiency, scrap, and absenteeism.
Lead, coach, and develop production supervisors and hourly employees.
Implement continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost reduction, waste elimination, and operational efficiency.
Ensure compliance with company policies, safety regulations, and quality standards.
Coordinate corrective and preventive actions resulting from internal and external audits.
Participate in operational meetings with cross-functional departments including Quality, Engineering, Maintenance, Logistics, and Human Resources.
Ensure proper utilization of machinery, tools, and personal protective equipment (PPE).
Support resolution of production issues, quality concerns, and operational challenges.
Promote a positive work environment focused on teamwork, accountability,



and communication.
Support Lean Manufacturing initiatives, including 5S and Kaizen activities.
Assist in new product launches, engineering changes, and process transfers.
Identify training and development needs for production personnel.

Ensure achievement of operational goals established by leadership and corporate management.

Qualifications

Education

Bachelor’s degree in Industrial Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field.

Experience

5 to 8 years of experience in manufacturing or maquiladora production environments.
Minimum of 3 years in a leadership or supervisory role.

Experience managing hourly and direct labor personnel.

Technical Knowledge

Manufacturing and assembly processes.
Lean Manufacturing principles.
5S, Kaizen, and Continuous Improvement methodologies.
Production control and line balancing.
Operational KPI management.
Industrial safety standards.
ERP/MRP systems.
Production reporting and metrics analysis.
