Required Experience
- Bachelor's degree in International Business, Administration, Industrial Engineering or related field.
- English - advanced.
- Microsoft Office - advanced.
- 7 years of relevant experience in procurement and sourcing activities.
- Experience in logistics operations within the automotive industry.
- Experience working for a trucking carrier or logistics service provider.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead, coach, and evaluate the Procurement team to ensure high performance.
- Prepare and implement annual procurement and sourcing plans.
- Monitor market trends and supplier performance to identify business opportunities.
- Drive cost optimization initiatives to improve operational efficiency and profitability.
- Manage supplier bidding, negotiations, and contract administration to ensure compliance and transparency.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with strategic suppliers while identifying new sourcing opportunities.
- Evaluate supplier performance through regular reviews, site visits, and continuous improvement initiatives.
