The Production Planner is responsible for coordinating manufacturing schedules, ensuring material availability, and optimizing production efficiency for HVAC components and systems.
The Production Planner works closely with procurement, Purchasing, engineering, manufacturing and production teams to maintain a smooth workflow, minimize downtime, and meet customer demand while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities
Production Scheduling: Develop and adjust production schedules based on demand forecasts, capacity constraints, and lead times.
Material Planning: Ensure raw materials (e.g., sheet metal, copper, aluminum, insulation) are available in alignment with production needs.
Capacity Management: Monitor machine workloads, labor availability, and shift planning to maximize efficiency.
Bottleneck Resolution:



Identify and mitigate potential production bottlenecks or delays.
Process Optimization: Implement Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma techniques to reduce waste and improve cycle times.
ERP/MRP Utilization: Manage production data using ERP systems (e.g., SAP) to track inventory, work orders, and lead times.
Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Supply Chain Management, or a related field.
English Level: Advanced.
Experience: 3-7 years in production planning within the HVAC or metalworking industry.
Experience using major ERP systems especially SAP Business One.
Demonstrated proficiency with PC software (MS Office, Excel).
APICS Certification (Desirable).
