Your primary responsibility is to **support customers and the team in understanding technical challenges**and help design solutions using MySQL HeatWave services in Oracle's Cloud.
You will have opportunities to engage with customers across different industries and to develop hands-on expertise through training, mentoring, and close teamwork with senior engineers.
This role is designed for someone who is **eager to learn, proactive, and motivated to grow into a senior Solutions Engineer role**.
**Key activities include**:
- Supporting proof of concepts, benchmarks, or technical evaluations with guidance from senior engineers.
- Assisting in the creation and documentation of repeatable cloud solutions.
- Delivering or co-delivering hands-on technical workshops.
- Collaborating with senior team members to build industry-focused solutions.
- Helping with reporting on business activities and customer projects.




- Learning to communicate effectively with customers and internal stakeholders.
**What we are looking for**:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or related degree
- 2+ years of experience with at least one scripting/programming language (e.g., Python, Java, C#).
- 2+ years of experience with at least one database system (e.g., MySQL, PostgreSQL, MongoDB).
- Interest in learning cloud technologies and database performance.
- Good communication skills, willingness to present and collaborate.
- Self-starter attitude with strong organizational skills and curiosity to learn.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Ability to travel (up to *****%).
**Bonus Points (not required, but nice to have)**:
- Hands-on experience with **any**Cloud platform (Oracle, AWS, Azure, GCP).
- Familiarity with container deployments or basic cloud-native concepts.
- Exposure to analytics, data science, or reporting tools.
- Experience in academic or professional projects involving teamwork and technical problem-solving.
