Your Responsibilities Will Include:
Delivering tailored 1:1 support to a student with additional needs, promoting engagement and learning across the curriculum
- Implementing adaptive strategies to support autism and hearing impairment
- Collaborating with teaching staff, the SENCO, and external professionals to meet the student's EHCP objectives
- Encouraging the student's confidence, independence, and participation in an inclusive classroom environment
What We're Looking For:
Experience supporting young people with autism and/or hearing impairments
- Knowledge of secondary curriculum and SEN best practices
- A patient, compassionate, and proactive approach to learning support
- Ability to reliably commute to and from Birmingham starting in September
