**Experience & Background**
- Minimum 10 years in procurement (mandatory)
- Preferred: Experience in a manufacturing or R&D-driven; environment
- Proven success in cost-saving, supplier management, and procurement strategy
- Familiar with Lean manufacturing principles and continuous improvement
- ERP systems proficiency (e.g., SAP, Oracle, etc.)
- Strong Microsoft Office skills (especially Excel, Outlook)
**Strategic Procurement & Vendor Management**
- Skilled in strategic sourcing, supplier onboarding, and vendor negotiations
- Ability to streamline and standardize purchasing procedures
- Experience managing long-lead-time and high-value materials
- Proven ability to develop and track supplier performance metrics
**Operations & Inventory Control**
- Strong grasp of Materials Requirement Planning (MRP)
- Inventory optimization, cost reduction, and waste minimization experience
- ERP-based inventory record management




- Experience working with Finance on procurement budgeting
**Innovation & Sustainability**
- Track record of sustainable procurement practices
- Ability to identify and incorporate new technologies/materials into sourcing strategy
**Health & Safety Competence**
- Knowledge of manufacturing health & safety regulations
- Experience with Joint Health & Safety Committees (JHSC)
- Enforces and promotes a positive safety culture
- Ensures compliance with protective equipment and safety procedures
