We are currently looking for a Team Lead
- Loan Servicing to join our ResortCom family!
**Job Summary**
This position reports to the Floor Supervisor - Loan Servicing and provides direction, support, and feedback to all staff on behalf of the supervisor in their absence.
This role requires attention to detail, extensive knowledge of the services provided, and a willingness to lead a team.
The individual will be responsible for all aspects of the Collections team and for meeting personal objectives assigned by the company.
**Essential Functions**
- Assist in supervising daily operations.
- Provide direction and day-to-day communication to the Collections Service operations team to ensure projects, deadlines, and calls are completed in a timely manner.
- Maintain a presence on the call center floor, ensuring staff remain productive, follow policies, and adhere to work schedules.
- Monitor adherence to agents' schedules (e.g., breaks, lunches).
- Establish weekly individual meetings with all agents.
- Address daily issues and collaborate with relevant department personnel to resolve them where possible.
- Review and investigate all complaints related to operations within the areas of responsibility, ensuring prompt resolution.
- Review escalations, loan histories, annual maintenance fee histories, and account entries to identify issues or challenges.
- Foster urgency and enthusiasm within the team to meet objectives.
- Stay up to date on industry products and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with other divisions, customers, partners, and staff.
- Address and resolve labor relations issues expressed by team members while creating and maintaining a high-quality work environment that motivates team members to perform at their best.
- Correct errors in the system, such as incorrect monetary postings, and review loan data amortization to resolve related issues.
- Report performance issues to the Collections and Collection Services supervisors and the Division Manager for review and follow-up.
- The Team Leader will also be responsible for making calls, collecting payments, and achieving objectives assigned by management.
Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
- Handling more than 100 daily accounts for special project assignments.
- Demonstrating superior customer service skills and a personal commitment to timeliness, reliability, attendance, and quality of work.

Work Environment
Work for this position is performed in an office environment.
The noise level is usually moderate.
Travel is not required but may be necessary for training, attending meetings, and building relationships with other professionals.
Night and weekend work may be required depending on workload.
The position requires the ability to sit at a computer and perform data entry for extended periods, with two 15-minute breaks.
**Pay Information**
- Team Lead, Loan Servicing: $26,****** monthly
- Agents are scheduled for 40 hours per week, divided into 5 days

Education and Experience Required
- More than 2 years of prior experience as a team leader in a Collections/Accounts environment
- High school diploma
- Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively in high-workload situations
- Ability to work under pressure
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts such as discounts, interest, commissions, and percentages
- Knowledge of the FDCPA
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals
- Ability to present information and answer questions for national and international management groups and clients
- Fluency in English and Spanish
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must be organized and detail-oriented
Preferred Education and Experience
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
