**Location**: Elizabeth City, NC
**Position Overview**
Plan and oversee daily work duties with subordinates.
Perform corrective and preventive maintenance on production equipment and facilities.
The goal is to ensure the company facilities and equipment are well-cared for and adequate to support the company's business operations.
**Responsibilities**
- Exercise technical and functional supervision over subordinate maintenance personnel.
- Instruct and train technicians on proper techniques and practices to service and maintain equipment.
- Carry out preventative and corrective maintenance measures on production equipment and facilities.
- Ensure maintenance and repairs are accomplished in accordance with procedures (manufacturers, local and safety).
- Conduct emergency fixes on production equipment and facilities as necessary.
- Responsible for ensuring quality and production by guaranteeing smooth operation of mechanical equipment machinery.
- Duties include preventative maintenance on prerequisites on motors, pumps, pneumatic equipment/systems,



conveyor systems, and production machines following operations manuals, manufacturer's instructions or local procedures.
- Troubleshoot malfunctions and locate sources of problems by examining mechanical devices in the process of utilizing precision measuring, testing instruments and listening for problems.
- Use work orders, technical manuals, drawings/ diagrams, and blueprints to troubleshoot equipment properly.
- Remove inoperative or replace broken/missing part by taking devices apart using hand and power tools, as well as hoists.
- Update equipment maintenance records with repairs conducted to include listing of parts replaced.
- Create, update, and track required work repairs in CMMS.
- Prepare conventional and urgent purchase requests as required to include part number identication if possible.
- Follow and adhere to all company employee rules and requirements.
Maintain a clean and organized shop and work areas.
- Ensure that equipment and facilities are maintained and clean.
- Conduct other duties as they are assigned.
