Lean Intern
Objective
This position will support the implementation and alignment of Lean tools with Nemak's work systems, contributing to continuous improvement and operational excellence.
Responsibilities
Implement and align Lean tools with Nemak's work systems.
Develop employee competencies through continuous training using Lean tools (Kaizen, 5S, Standardized Work).
Analyze and identify the best ways to perform tasks and document them in the system.
Execute business improvement projects (Kaizen, Optimizations, Cost Reduction, 5S).
Monitor compliance with established cycle times for each production team.
Define material handling standards for each production process.
Qualifications
Education: Active college student with at least one year remaining before graduation.
Skills: Organization and attention to detail, Active listening, Communication,



Customer orientation, Interpersonal skills.
