About the Role Mirai RiskTech is seeking a Junior Informatica PowerCenter Developer with a strong foundation in ETL processes and a willingness to continue growing in the data integration field.
In this role, you will support the development, maintenance, and improvement of ETL workflows within the Informatica PowerCenter ecosystem.
You will work closely with senior developers, business analysts, and other technical teams to translate functional requirements into reliable and efficient technical solutions.
This position is ideal for someone with a solid technical base, strong analytical skills, and motivation to learn and contribute to Business Intelligence and Data Warehouse initiatives.
Key ResponsibilitiesÂÂAssist in the design, development, and maintenance of ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter, following coding best practicesSupport data mapping and basic data modeling activities for Data Warehouse and Data Mart structuresPerform unit testing and participate in integration and UAT testing under the guidance of senior team membersÂCollaborate in code migration processes across environments and help manage incremental and scheduled data loadsÂContribute to ETL monitoring and operational support,



including issue identification and basic troubleshootingFollow data governance guidelines, including documentation standards, data quality checks, and metadata updatesÂWork with crossâfunctional teams (QA, DBAs, business analysts) to understand requirements and provide technical supportÂDocument processes, mappings, and ETL logic to ensure project maintainabilityExecute basic data validation routines to ensure accuracy and completenessPerform routine preventive maintenance tasks, including log reviews and monitoring activitiesParticipating in code review sessions as a learner to understand development standardsSupport small automation tasks under guidance (e.g., simple scripts or workflow improvements)Your profileWe are looking for a proactive and self-motivated individual with strong problem-solving skills and a genuine interest in technology.
The adecuado candidate is someone who:ÂIs interested in developing advanced skills in Informatica PowerCenter, ETL process performance, and data modelingApplies basic software development and data engineering concepts, with some hands-on experience supporting ETL processes using Informatica PowerCenter.Working knowledge of Oracle databases, SQL development, and data modeling to assist in data processing and reporting tasksÂQualificationsÂBachelorâs degree in information technology, Computer Science,



or a related fieldEnglish proficiency at B2 or higher (required)1+ years of handsâon experience in ETL development using Informatica PowerCenterÂExperience participating in Business Intelligence or Data Warehouse projectsKnowledge of relational databases and proficiency in SQLÂBasic to intermediate experience with ControlâM or similar job schedulersStrong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritize tasks, work proactively, and collaborate effectively in a team environmentBasic knowledge of UNIX/Linux environmentsBasic understanding of Git or other version control systemsFamiliarity with Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban)Basic proficiency with documentation tools (Confluence, Jira, Notion, etc.)ÂLocationThis position is based inMexico Cityand primarily follows a remote work model, with occasional on-site meetings as needed for business purposes.
