Job DescriptionAir Export Agent will serve in an operations capacity, responsible for processing export shipments including accompanying export documentation.Major duties and responsibilities to include but not limited to:Track and Trace shipments.Prepare, handle, and process shipment documentation- including house and master air waybills,



commercial documents, and customs/regulatory documents.Accurate and timely data entry into our operating system.Communicate effectively with customers, vendors, other Expeditors offices worldwide, and co-workers through high volume of email, phone, instant message, and person to person.Monitor reports.Accurate and timely client billing.Contribute to maintaining strong service provider relationships- airlines, trucking companies, and others.Maintain compliance standards at all times- including internal policies and procedures, external government regulations, and customer requirements.Meet key performance indicators to support department, branch, product, and company goals.Desire to understand overall department process flow and constantly seek opportunities for improved efficiency.Training and Development - must obtain required 52 hours of annual training.Complete mandatory training when requiredUnderstand department process flow,



and looking for best practices to improve operational efficiency and productivityEscalation of problems to Management when necessary.AGENT CORE COMPETENCIESTimely and Accurate Billing and AccountingInvoices customers the expected charges timely and accurately and according to Expeditors and customer requirements.Properly provisions service provider charges to avoid reserves.Follows proper credit approval processes in order to minimize risk and protect the company.Timely and Accurate Data EntryEnsures accurate and timely data entry into our operational systems according to Expeditors' operational procedures and customer requirements.Monitors exception reports for quick data integrity resolution.Timely and Accurate Shipment ProcessingEnsures smooth and timely freight process flow according to Expeditors' operational procedures.Follows customer's standard operating procedures and proactively notifies customers of any issues.Consistently meets KPI standards, as per company's procedures.QualificationsEffective interpersonal skills - including the ability to listen, comprehend and to communicate clearly and concisely both verbally and in writing.Strong organizational and prioritization skills are critical.Must have the ability to work independently and in a team environment.Proven background for excellent attendance.IATA Certification (preferred)Pro-active, strong organizational skills.Fluent inSpanishAdhere to the company's 10 cultural attributes: Appearance, Attitude, Confidence, Curiosity, Excellence, Integrity, Pride, Resolute, Sense of Humor, and Visionary.6 months to 1 year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience#J-*****-Ljbffr
