Your mission, roles and responsibilitiesThe Industrial Manager is responsible for leading the industrial efficiency in all aspects, from footprint decisions to process, layout, flow definition and capacity analysis by plant.All decisions should be driven by cost optimization to maximize the profitability of the business while considering customer and supplier footprints.Manage Metal Division Investment (CAPEX) for all Metal Plants.Develop strong relationships with the operation teams of all plants.Analyze and manage plant capacities for main generic equipment (stamping, laser welding, MAG welding, Spot welding, TEF, expanding, assembly).
Ensure new capacity equipment launched follows the latest generic standards.Support the definition of the yearly metal CAPEX budget and track spendings monthly.Boost VA/VE through cross-functional workshops and by transferring best practices from other regions.Propose Make or Buy studies to identify processes/components that make sense to manufacture internally versus externally.Develop business cases to identify mechanisms that make sense for localization (recliners, tracks, pumps...).
Maintain strong relationships with S3 Europe teams for operational efficiency improvement support and anticipate general support needs.Analyze layouts and flows and propose improvements using cross-functional workshops and engaging experts from Europe when needed.Manage plant loading updates on a semester basis through the strategic plan period to ensure optimal balancing between plants.Prepare monthly activity reports at the top management level for governance and escalations as necessary.Support any industrial-related crisis when requested.Your profile and competencies to succeedQualificationsMinimum education level: Bachelor's degree in Business, Engineering or related field.10 years of experience in various manufacturing, operations, and project management positions.Automotive seating experience preferred, especially in metal.Senior-level customer relations with supply base, Tier1, and OEMs.Skills & CompetenciesWillingness to travel frequently within Mexico and the United States.Strong computer skills (Microsoft Office – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project).
