Responsibilities Manage and administer agreements to establish policy, material storage, spare parts, identification, dispatch, and distribution.Design an inventory control system, kanban installation, storage, and classification of items.Maintain equipment assigned to the department in good condition.Work with Purchasing, Planning, Production, and Warehouse areas to support resolution of situations that arise.Perform daily coordination functions of sending and receiving materials regarding transactions in the system (data entry and location).
Direct team activities to meet production goals and maintain efficiency, quality, and safety standards.Control costs within budget levels, minimizing scrap and rework costs.Anticipate and react to production problems or delays, material shortages, and equipment malfunctions.Provide technical assistance for equipment malfunctions and expedite repairs.Work with production to ensure materials are delivered to assembly in a timely manner.Supervise, evaluate, and train the workgroup.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in industrial engineering, business administration, logistics,
