Lenovo is seeking a Trade Compliance & Export Control Specialist based in Monterrey to support the company's trade compliance program for the Monterrey operations.This position is part of Lenovo's Global Trade Compliance organization.The Trade Compliance & Export Control Specialist will support all aspects of Lenovo's trade compliance program, with primary responsibility for ensuring compliance with the IMMEX Program, Annex 24 and Annex 30 requirements, and other applicable Mexican trade compliance and authorized trade programs.The role will partner closely with Manufacturing, Supply Chain, Logistics, Procurement, Customs Brokers, and Integral Trade Compliance teams to ensure regulatory compliance, support operational excellence, and enable business growth.Responsibilities:A working knowledge of and ability to apply laws and regulations related to global trade complianceSupport proficiency in applicable laws and regulations issued by various government agencies and translate them into business compliance best practices.Manage IMMEX/Annex 24 & 30Manage AEO program and other trade accreditation programsConduct internal audits and reviewsMonitor changes in government trade regulations to ensure internal processes and procedures are implementedCollaborate cross functionally to ensure compliance with all relevant trade-related laws and regulations while enabling the business to achieve objectivesParticipate in trade compliance associations to stay current on import regulations and best practicesManage a diverse workload which may include changes in priorities and responsibilitiesPerform other duties as assignedRequired Knowledge, Skills, and Experience:Bachelor's degree in international Trade, Business, Supply Chain, Law, or a related field5-8 years of trade compliance experienced in foreign trade, import/export laws, AEO, CTPAT, and experience in IMMEX Annex 24 & 30Experience of interpreting and managing policies and proceduresExperience developing and implementing processes and proceduresExperience in Annex 24 systemsWorking SAP/GTS knowledge of export transactionsStrong problem solving and analytical skills with high attention to detailStrong communication and interpersonal skills to work throughout the organizationHighly motivated, self-directedExcellent written and oral communication skills (English & Spanish)#J-*****-Ljbffr
