Job DescriptionThe Electrical Design Engineer will develop electrical design HDLC units such as In-row CDU and In rack CDU as well as 2 phase products.He/she will closely follow objectives of quality, environment and costs working in cooperation with manufacturing engineering, controls engineering, procurement, suppliers, mechanical engineering, and product marketing.The Electrical Engineer will contribute to the release of new products; will work in a cross-functional development group; manage a variety of tasks and activities in a dynamic environment; and solve complex problems where no precedence exists.Job SummaryThe Electrical Design Engineer will develop electrical design HDLC units such as In-row CDU and In rack CDU as well as 2 phase products.He/she will closely follow objectives of quality, environment and costs working in cooperation with manufacturing engineering, controls engineering, procurement, suppliers, mechanical engineering, and product marketing.The Electrical Engineer will contribute to the release of new products; will work in a cross-functional development group; manage a variety of tasks and activities in a dynamic environment; and solve complex problems where no precedence exists.ResponsibilitiesDesign new and low voltage electrical enclosures (>240 volts AC).
Harness Design, schematic creation and 3D modeling of wiring and cabling inside equipment.Experience with CREO Cabling module is preferred.Capable and proficient at understanding and applying various standards of NEC (NFPA70), CSA/UL, and IEEE to do a proper selection of electrical components that meet agencies requirements.Collaboration and guideline across the disciplines of mechanical engineering, electrical engineering, process engineering, as well as production and offering teams.Work with these teams for design reviews, meeting cost metrics,
