At TE, you will unleash your potential working with people from diverse backgrounds and industries to create a safer, sustainable and more connected world.Job OverviewThe TE Connectivity Connected Living Solutions (CLS) Business Unit has an opportunity available for a Project Manager located in Hermosillo, Mexico.This role will be aligned to the Lighting and Precision Connections (LPC) Sub-Vertical within the CLS Business Unit that provides connectivity and integrated systems solutions to customers in the Industrial, Automation and Outdoor lighting markets.The Engineering Project Manager is responsible for the management of cross functional teams supporting new product development projects.The successful candidate will work with Product Management, Sales, Quality, Manufacturing, Finance, and other functions across TE to ensure projects meet financial, schedule and customer expectations.The Project Manager is responsible for defining and creating project schedules and ensuring project tasks are executed per that schedule.The Project Manager is also responsible for identifying resource constraints and working with management for resolution of those constraints.The Project Manager is expected to adhere to the LEANPD process – a well-defined stage gate process that governs execution of new product development projects within TE.This includes regular presentations to the Lighting and Precision Connections Project Approval Committee (PAC) consisting of members of the LPC senior leadership team.This role will report to the Sr.Manager Project Management in our Middletown,
USA location.What your background should look likePMP certification strongly preferredAbility to manage integral project teams with key functions in regions outside of North AmericaStrong communication and presentation skillsAbility to successfully manage multiple projects and prioritiesBachelor's degree in appropriate field with a minimum of 5 years of experienceKey ResponsibilitiesManage NPD projects following the LEANPD process, with a focus on launching new products on timeMaintain project data in Planisware to achieve CLS Business Unit data integrity goalsEnsure project progress and deliverables are achieved across all business functions to ensure compliance with LEANPD Stage Gate processWork with project core teams to develop a project schedule and drive the project to meet that scheduleWork with the project core teams to develop a project budget and drive the project to meet that budgetWork with the project core teams to identify project risks and develop plans to mitigate those risksWork with Finance and Industrial Engineering to develop project P&Ls; and CERs to support capital expendituresUpdate/communicate status of projects to Project Approval Committee (PAC)Work closely with Product Management, Sales, Engineering, Finance and Operations to make sure committed New Product Sales (NPS) are achievedPotentially contribute to or lead overall continuous improvement initiatives to address systemic issues in the new product development processCompetenciesSET: Strategy, Execution, Talent (for managers)Job LocationsPosting City: HERMOSILLO SONORAJob Country: MexicoTravel Required: Less than 10%Requisition ID: ******Workplace Type: HybridExternal Careers Page: Project Management#J-*****-Ljbffr
