POSITION SUMMARYThe Thermal Engineersupports new product development.It acts as a technical referent for New Product Development team and Product management.The Thermal Engineer provides direct daily support to engineering groups by focusing on Thermal design, Testing and simulation.Engineer needs to Conduct model checks and/or creating parametric models with available CAD packages and perform the sensitivity analysis independently with limited assistance.He/ She need to Participate and support the potential product development opportunities on a global level and provide technical expertise towards design.One must drive the virtual testing and reducing the physical tests, develop and improve of current best practices of the computational methods / Hand CalculationsRESPONSIBILITIESAssists with creation, reviewing, and systems-entry of new product specifications, ECNs, tests, procedures, user manuals, submittal drawings,



and sales literature.Utilize the analytical skill set and simulation tools to analyze the fluid flow systems and recommendations for design improvements.Should be able to Interpret analysis results for base design and suggest modification.Working with contract resources and/or manufacturers for prototype/production buildsAssists with troubleshooting of escalated or re-occurring field issues with aid from the simulations.Works closely with technicians and junior engineers, providing technical support and guidance.Collaborates with other groups, including Electrical, Mechanical, Control engineers, System test, customer support, and manufacturing.QUALIFICATIONSBachelor of Science in Thermal, Mechanical, Aerospace Engineering or equivalent.Comfortable in working with Creo preferred or any other CAD software.5 + Years of engineering on DX and CW Refrigeration system development/Design.Comprehensive understanding of the Refrigeration system.Working proficiency of mechanical and Thermal design concepts.Experience with thermal Design software such as Refprop, Coildesigner or equivalent analysis package desired.Strong troubleshooting skills with the ability to solve (and prevent) a wide range of problems quickly and logically.Excellent planning, organizing, documentation, and communication skills.Ability to multitask and operate in cross functional Integral Development Teams.Fluency in EnglishPHYSICAL & ENVIRONMENTAL DEMANDSNo special physical requirements.TIME TRAVEL REQUIRED10%#J-*****-Ljbffr
