The Cybersecurity Engineer (Palo Alto XSIAM/ XDR) performs product installation, configuration, customization, automation, and integration for our clients.ResponsibilitiesExecuting client engagements that exceed expectations based on a strong understanding of the client's business and their unique needs by: Leading the requirements gathering process.Developing and implementing security software solutions and workflow plans aligned with client business and security objectives.Installing and/or configuring security software solutions.Development of custom reports, dashboards, alerts and scans to meet client business objectives.Managing client expectations to enable their desired outcomes.Assisting clients with upgrades and migration to new hardware or software versions.Serve as technical architect or technical lead on internal operational support system re-engineering projects or CRM design and deployment projects.Serve as instructor to train client staff on product usage and best practices.Contribute to the development and maintenance of internal delivery methods and tools.Developing and maintaining positive relationships with clients.RequirementsBachelor's degree in science, engineering, or computer field or related work experience equivalent.4+ years of experience in IT, security, risk management or professional services.Experience managing SIEM / XDR tools.Experience writing queries (XQL / KQL / SPL)Experience with investigating alerts/incidents, creating detection rules, building automation/playbooks (SOAR), threat hunting, log ingestion / data onboarding, dashboard/report creation and/or integrating security tools (EDR, firewall, cloud).
