Job Summary
Coordinate purchasing activities with manufacturing and engineering departments to acquire inventory. Acquire and maintain technical understanding of products purchased. Perform cost analysis and volume planning for major commodities. Obtain materials, components, equipment and services. Develop new supply sources where vendors and suppliers are inadequate. Monitor the cost, schedule and scope of assigned subcontracts to assure highest quality at best value. May recommend cost‑saving proposals including make‑versus‑buy analysis, alternative sourcing and vendor evaluation criteria. You will report to our Procurement Team Lead located in our Monterrey Manufacturing Center.
Essential Functions
- Coordinate Request for Quotation and Purchase Order related activities in ERP/CRM system within given time frames with focus on service, cost and contribution.
- Work with AMR Team, team members and vendors to ensure delivery and payment issues are resolved promptly.
- Manage vendors tactical performance following business indicators.
- Ensure procurement data consistency and process agreement on Service Level Agreements.
- Support supplier selection, negotiations and business reviews.
- Build productive internal/external working relationships.
- Communicate with partners and provide necessary support and information.
- Apply company procedures to resolve standard issues and provide suggestions for improvement.
- Lead low and mid‑complexity project assignment based on priorities.

Minimum Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in a supply chain related area (e.g., Logistics, Economics).
- 1 year of experience in Procurement or Supply Chain management area.
- Communicative English skills both written and verbal (B2 minimum); additional language skills, especially German, will be an advantage.
- Use standard tools (applications and cloud), especially Excel, Word and PowerPoint (functions, formatting); knowledge of SAP, DDS, CPro and Power BI will be an advantage.
- Demonstratable data analysis skills.
- Understanding of basic Supply Chain interdependencies.
- Continuous Improvement oriented.
- Ability to work in an environment with unexpected changes, easily adapting.
