Responsibilities
- Process bi-weekly payroll for multiple U.S. locations.
- Ensure payroll transactions are completed accurately and within established deadlines.
- Process payroll transactions related to new hires, terminations, pay rate changes, transfers, bonuses, and deductions.
- Maintain employee payroll records, tax forms, direct deposit authorizations, and related documentation.
- Support payroll corrections, off-cycle payments, retroactive adjustments, and final paychecks.
- Respond to employee and manager inquiries regarding pay, taxes, deductions, and timekeeping issues.
- Assist with garnishments, benefit deductions, retirement contributions, and other payroll withholdings.
- Monitor compliance with federal, state, and local U.S. wage and hour regulations.
- Support year-end payroll activities, including W-2 preparation and distribution.
- Generate payroll reports for management and accounting teams.
- Maintain strict confidentiality of payroll and employee information.
- Assist with payroll audits and special projects as needed.
Requirements
- Education
- Associate degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or a related field preferred.
- Required Experience
- Minimum of 3 years of experience processing U.S. payroll (required).
- Experience processing payroll for multiple locations and/or multiple states.
- Experience with payroll and timekeeping systems.
- Experience supporting U.S.-based operations.
- Experience with UKG (Ultimate Kronos Group) is highly preferred.
- Experience in healthcare, senior living, or service-based industries is a plus.
- Advanced English proficiency is required, as the role involves daily interaction with U.S.-based manager and stakeholders.
- Open to work on a Hybrid Scheme at Colonia Providencia in Guadalajara, Jalisco
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Strong understanding of U.S. payroll practices and wage and hour regulations.
- Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Office applications.
- Strong customer service and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information appropriately.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Ability to work independently and collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
