About the Opportunity

We are partnering with a large, enterprise-level financial services organization undergoing a major Snowflake migration initiative. This is a high-visibility transformation project, and they are seeking a senior Snowflake Architect to strengthen their data platform team and drive best-in-class architecture across the migration.

This is a fully remote contract opportunity for a LATAM-based consultant with deep Snowflake expertise and strong BI integration experience.

The Role

As the Snowflake Architect, you will:

- Lead architecture and design for a large-scale migration to Snowflake
- Define best practices for data modeling, performance optimization, and governance
- Architect scalable, secure, and cost-efficient Snowflake environments
- Collaborate with data engineering, analytics, and BI teams
- Provide architectural guidance on downstream reporting tools
- Act as a subject matter expert across Snowflake capabilities

This is a hands‑on architectural role,



we’re looking for someone who can both design and guide execution.

Required Experience

- 5-7+ years in data architecture / data engineering
- Deep expertise in Snowflake architecture and large‑scale migration projects
- Proven experience designing enterprise data warehouses in Snowflake
- Strong understanding of performance tuning, security, and cost optimization
- Experience integrating Snowflake with BI tools
- Advanced experience with Sigma and Tableau
- Experience in financial services, mortgage, lending, banking, or other highly regulated environments preferred

Nice to Have

- Experience working with U.S.-based financial institutions
- Cloud platform experience (AWS, Azure, or GCP)
- Background in enterprise data transformation initiatives
