The EHS Intern will support the Environmental, Health & Safety team in implementing and maintaining programs that promote workplace safety, regulatory compliance, environmental stewardship, and continuous improvement. This role provides hands-on experience in a manufacturing environment through participation in safety inspections, audits, training activities, and EHS-related projects.

About your role:

- Assist in monitoring and tracking EHS performance metrics and key indicators.
- Participate in safety inspections and workplace audits throughout the facility.
- Support incident investigations and follow-up on corrective and preventive actions.
- Assist in developing, updating, and maintaining EHS procedures, work instructions, and documentation.
- Support environmental initiatives, including waste management, recycling, and sustainability programs.
- Assist with compliance activities related to local, state,



and federal regulations.
- Help coordinate EHS training sessions and maintain training records.
- Participate in emergency preparedness activities and safety awareness campaigns.
- Support continuous improvement projects focused on workplace safety and environmental performance.
- Perform additional EHS-related duties and special projects as assigned.

About you:

- Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering, Environmental Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Occupational Health & Safety, or a related field.
- Availability to complete an internship for at least 6 months.
- Basic knowledge of environmental, health, and safety principles.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proactive attitude and willingness to learnn
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks and priorities.
- Interest in manufacturing operations and EHS management systems.
