As a Referral Laboratory Management Specialist I at ICON, you will support the coordination and management of services provided by external referral laboratories. What You Will Do: Your role will involve delivering clinical laboratory operations work to a high standard, working closely with your team and stakeholders.Key responsibilities include:Assisting in the coordination of services with external referral laboratories to ensure timely and accurate completion of lab activities.Supporting the setup and management of lab processes, including sample handling, testing protocols, and data collection.Ensuring that all laboratory activities adhere to regulatory standards and internal quality guidelines.Monitoring lab service performance, identifying issues, and assisting in their resolution in collaboration with referral labs and internal teams.Providing basic support and information to internal teams regarding lab processes and services. Your Profile: You will bring relevant clinical laboratory operations experience, along with the following qualifications and skills.Required qualifications and experience:Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as life sciences, laboratory science, or clinical research.1-3 years of experience in laboratory management or coordination, preferably within the clinical research or pharmaceutical industry.Knowledge or experience with clinical trials is preferred.Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to manage multiple tasks related to lab services.Good communication and teamwork skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with external and internal stakeholders.Basic knowledge of regulatory requirements and standards related to laboratory services in clinical trials.
