This critical role sits at the intersection of data, technology, and performance marketing, serving as the reporting authority for a fast‑paced, multi‑channel paid media team. The Manager, Reporting & Performance Analytics reports directly to the Director and is responsible for the accuracy, integrity, and strategic delivery of performance reporting across all paid media channels, including Google, Microsoft, Apple Search Ads (ASA), You Tube, and UAC/App campaigns. The Manager leads the reporting operations, oversees the Senior Associate, and serves as the first line of defense for data quality, pacing oversight, and issue resolution. As part of the Integral Operations Centre (GOC), the Manager works closely with teams across the United States, Europe, and Asia to deliver high‑impact solutions in a collaborative, multicultural environment.
Responsibilities Own end‑to‑end delivery of performance reporting across all paid media channels, ensuring all outputs are accurate, timely, and clearly structured. Serve as the team’s reporting authority, understanding how all platforms, data sources, and tracking systems are connected and how changes in one area affect reporting across the board. Proactively monitor campaign pacing against budget targets on a daily and weekly basis; flag over‑pacing and under‑pacing scenarios in real time with clear context and recommended corrective actions. QA all data flows on a scheduled and ad‑hoc basis, identifying discrepancies between platform data, dashboards, and downstream reporting destinations before they escalate. Troubleshoot reporting issues across platforms, tracking setups, data pipelines, and dashboards; determine root causes and communicate findings clearly and quickly. Proactively flag performance anomalies, data gaps, and platform issues without waiting to be asked, always pairing the flag with context and a recommendation. Translate performance data into clear, well‑reasoned recommendations that are easy for stakeholders to understand and act on; connect reporting insights to broader campaign strategy. Develop, maintain, and continuously improve reporting dashboards, templates, and automated reporting workflows that scale with the team’s needs. Maintain a deep and current understanding of how Google Ads, Microsoft Ads, ASA, You Tube, and UAC campaigns are structured, how they attribute conversions, and how their reporting metrics differ across platforms. Maintain a strong understanding of tracking and data infrastructure including UTM parameters, conversion tags, pixels,
and how data flows from platform to reporting destination. Manage and mentor the Senior Associate, setting daily and weekly priorities, reviewing all outputs before delivery, and fostering a high‑accountability, growth‑oriented team environment. Lead team prioritization with clarity and urgency, communicating what needs to be done first and why to direct reports. Maintain high responsiveness via chat during core business hours; set clear turnaround expectations and consistently meet them. Contribute to process documentation, best practices, and internal knowledge sharing to build a more efficient and scalable reporting operation. Use fluent English communication skills (written and verbal) to represent the team professionally in all client‑facing settings. Demonstrate experience in client‑facing environments, presenting on calls and in meetings with poise, clarity, and confidence. Own the reporting narrative on client calls, walking stakeholders through performance data, flagging issues, and delivering recommendations with confidence and without relying on others to speak on behalf. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Analytics, Business, or a related field; or equivalent professional experience. Minimum of 4–6 years of hands‑on experience in paid media reporting, digital marketing analytics, or performance marketing. 1–2 years of experience managing or mentoring junior team members preferred. Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, XLOOKUP/VLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, complex formulas, and data modeling. Experience using AI software to improve efficiency. Advanced proficiency in Google Sheets with a strong understanding of its capabilities and limitations relative to Excel. Demonstrated hands‑on experience reporting across Google Ads and Microsoft/Bing Ads; experience with Apple Search Ads (ASA) and UAC/App campaigns is required. Strong understanding of You Tube campaign metrics, including view‑through attribution and the distinction between brand and direct response KPIs. Solid understanding of tracking and attribution infrastructure, including UTM parameters, conversion tags, pixels, and data flow to reporting tools.
Proven ability to QA data flows, troubleshoot discrepancies, and identify root causes across complex multi‑platform reporting environments. Demonstrated ability to identify issues proactively and communicate them with clarity, context, and a recommended path forward. Strong understanding of pacing and budget management with experience flagging and resolving delivery issues across multiple campaigns simultaneously. Experience with data visualization tools such as Looker Studio, Tableau, or similar BI platforms is a plus. Exceptional attention to detail; takes full ownership of data accuracy and never publishes unreviewed work. Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex data issues simply and professionally.
