Insulet Corporation, maker of the Omni Pod, is the leader in tubeless insulin pump. The company is looking for a self‑motivated Trainee of Software Development to join the development effort related to product development and product modifications. The position is responsible for ensuring that software for on‑market products has been effectively and efficiently verified and validated prior to its release and that these designs effectively meet their requirements. Software engineering efforts are lifecycle oriented, beginning during product requirements development and continuing throughout its lifetime. Responsibilities Learn related departmental processes and procedures Assist team in identifying and/or creating new processes and/or program improvements Create, support, and maintain documentation needs Perform data entry and/or analysis; assist in problem‑solving activities Use of tools, techniques, databases and/or systems related to areas of assignment Investigate root cause analysis, fix software issues Perform other duties as required Education and Experience
Minimum Requirements:
• Pursuing a bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or Electrical and Computer Engineering with good grades.
• Good understanding and interest in mobile technologies.
