Role Description The Budget Specialist of FF&E;, OS&E; is a full-time remote role responsible for managing and optimizing budgets related to furniture, fixtures, equipment, and operating supplies for hospitality and construction projects. Day-to-day tasks include developing detailed budget plans, tracking expenditures, reconciling accounts, and preparing regular financial reports for project stakeholders. The specialist will review vendor proposals and invoices, ensure alignment with budget constraints, and identify variances or cost-saving opportunities. This role collaborates with project managers, procurement teams, and finance to maintain accurate financial records, support forecasting,



and uphold company policies and client requirements. The Budget Specialist also contributes to continuous improvement of budgeting processes and financial controls across multiple concurrent projects.
Qualifications

- Strong analytical skills to interpret financial data, identify trends, and support decision-making.
- Proficiency in budgeting and financial planning for FF&E; and OS&E; within project-based environments.
- Solid understanding of finance and accounting principles, including cost control and financial reporting.
- Experience with account reconciliation and maintaining accurate, auditable financial records.
- Advanced skills in Excel and financial software; experience with ERP or project accounting systems is beneficial.
- Excellent attention to detail, organizational capabilities, and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Effective written and verbal communication skills for collaborating with cross-functional and remote teams.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business, or a related field; relevant professional certifications are a plus.
- Experience in hospitality, construction, or project management environments is preferred.
- Ability to work independently in a remote setting, demonstrating accountability and time management.
