The position combines execution support with documentation, research, and standards development activities within Product Certification Engineering.
The role reports directly to Custom Solutions Engineering in Tijuana with functional alignment and technical guidance from Product Certification Engineering in San Diego.

**Key Responsibilities**
- Support verification of product compliance with applicable regulations, directives, codes, and standards.
- Perform certification activities, including review of drawings, technical documentation, inspection records, and test reports.
- Support preparation, review,



and maintenance of certification documentation and standardized work processes.
- Conduct research on applicable regulatory frameworks and industry standards (e.g., UL/CSA, NEC/NFPA, CE Marking, ATEX/PED, IEC/ISO).
- Interface with certification agencies, suppliers, and internal stakeholders under guidance of senior engineers.
- Participate in inspection and verification activities at the San Diego facility as required.
- Demonstrate sound engineering judgment, attention to detail, and ability to meet project schedules.
**Basic Qualifications**
- Bachelor's degree in Mechatronics, Electrical, Mechanical, or Industrial Engineering
- 3-5 years relevant engineering experience.
- Fluency in English (written and verbal).
**Preferred Qualifications**
- Exposure to Product Certification, regulatory compliance, inspection, or audit activities
- Experience supporting engineering, manufacturing, or field activities
- Mechanical, hydromechanical, or electrical package experience
- Quality or inspection support experience
- Internal Field Representative or commissioning support experience
- Experience working in cross‐functional or multi‐site engineering environments
