Senior Data Engineer (Snowflake / AWS)Job Summary
We are looking for a **Senior Data Engineer** to help design and implement scalable data infrastructure that supports advanced analytics and AI initiatives.
In this role, you will build and optimize modern cloud-based data platforms, enabling reliable data ingestion, transformation, and consumption across multiple systems.
You will work with cloud technologies such as **Snowflake** and **Amazon Web Services** to develop robust data pipelines and support analytics, reporting, and machine learning workloads.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, build, and maintain scalable **data pipelines** to move data from source systems into a cloud data lake.
- Develop and optimize data transformations in **Snowflake** to support analytics, reporting, and AI/ML initiatives.
- Implement ingestion pipelines using **AWS services** such as DMS, Glue, Lambda, and S3.
- Ensure data quality, governance, and reliability across data platforms.
- Build and maintain **CI/CD pipelines** for data engineering workflows.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support data strategy and analytics initiatives.
- Mentor junior engineers and contribute to data engineering best practices.
Required Qualifications
- **5+ years of experience in Data Engineering**:
- Strong experience working with **Snowflake** or similar cloud data warehouses
- Hands-on experience with **Amazon Web Services** data services such as:
- DMS
- Glue
- Lambda
- S3




- EventBridge
- Strong programming skills in **Python and SQL**:
- Experience implementing **Change Data Capture (CDC)** pipelines and real-time data processing
- Solid understanding of **data modeling and dimensional design**:
- Experience implementing **CI/CD pipelines** using tools like **GitHub Actions** or similar
- Conversational English (interviews will be conducted in English)
Nice to Have
- Experience working with modern data architectures and data lake environments
- Experience supporting analytics and AI/ML workloads
- Experience implementing Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
Work Model
Hybrid work model in **Monterrey**, **Mexico City**, or **Guadalajara**.
