**Summary**
Lead and/or execute mechanical assembly of automated equipment at plant and customer sites, supervising in-house staff or contractors.
Frequent travel (~50%).
**Responsibilities**:
- Assemble and verify parts per drawings; select proper fasteners.
- Proficient with hand tools and machines: drill press, surface grinder, bench grinder, arbor press, and milling machine.
- Startup, debug, validation, and commissioning with Engineering and Manufacturing.
- Install, maintain, diagnose, and repair assemblies (spindle units, gearboxes, etc.).
- Handle scheduled and emergency service; provide remote support; deliver basic customer training.
- Record engineering changes and service reports; keep documentation current; drive continuous improvement and manage customer relationships.
**Requirements**:
- Degree in engineering/technology.
- 5+ years as a Field Service Engineer/Technician.
- 5+ years with industrial machinery, mechanical maintenance, assembly, and on-site supervision.




- Ability to read mechanical drawings, electrical schematics, and technical documentation.
- Strong mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills; able to work independently, stay organized, and follow safety protocols.
- Excellent communication, teamwork, and leadership skills.
Additional Requirements
- Valid driver's license and passport; willing to travel (≥50%).
- Ability to pass drug screening and background check.
- Able to lift up to 35 lb (16 kg) and perform job-related physical activities; near/color/depth vision.
- Strict adherence to health and safety regulations.
