**Job Overview**:
**Role Summary**
We are looking for a dynamic and motivated People Experience Generalist who is passionate about delivering exceptional customer service and has a strong attention to detail.
In this role, you will serve as a key People Experience (PX) partner to managers and employees across various client locations, providing comprehensive support throughout the employee lifecycle.
From onboarding and day-to-day employee relations to offboarding, you will ensure all PX activities are carried out efficiently and in alignment with company policies and procedures.
You'll play a critical role in fostering a positive employee experience while ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and internal standards.
**Responsibilities & Tasks**
- Serve as the primary point of contact for managers and employees regarding general HR inquiries, leveraging strong customer service skills.
- Partner with other departments to onboard new hires.
- Conduct background checks for new employees and coordinate with the company's background check vendors to ensure timely and accurate completion.
- Verify employee eligibility to work in the US by completing Form I-9 and conducting E-Verify checks for all new hires.
Reverify expired documentation as needed.
- Conduct individualized new hire orientation meetings, helping employees get set up with company systems and tools.
- Liaise with other departments or functions (Sales Ops, Payroll, PX Ops, Benefits, etc.) as needed.
- Assign and ensure completion of required compliance training.
- Provide guidance to management on employee relations issues and terminations including identifying potential risk.
- Work closely with manager and other departments on addressing various employee issues that arise.
- Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
- Partner and collaborate with Corporate PX Manager to resolve complex issues that may arise.
- Maintain confidentiality related to employee information, including employment, performance, conduct, etc.
- Support other People Experience (PX) functions as needed.
- Assist with issues that may arise during the life cycle of the employee, including post separation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
**Experience, Skills and Qualifications Required**
- Thorough knowledge of US employment-related laws and regulations.
- Advanced computer skills, including data entry,
data processing, communication tools and payroll/HR software.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Outstanding organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent customer service, interpersonal, and conflict resolution skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.
- Capability to prioritize tasks.
- Ability to act with integrity, professionalism, and confidentiality.
**Education and Experience**:
- A bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred; alternatively, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
- Requires a minimum of three years of experience with a degree, or 5 to 6 years of HR experience without a degree.
- Experience working for a client-based company is a plus.
