**About role**
At Bloom, we are seeking a Binational Controller with solid experience in accounting and compliance in Mexico, as well as practical knowledge of U.S. bookkeeping (LLC).
This person will be responsible for ensuring the integrity of financial information, preparing monthly closings, ensuring tax compliance in both countries, and correctly recording intercompany transactions.
They will supervise the operational payroll and finance work carried out by the current team, reporting directly to the CEO.
This role is part-time, adecuado for a professional with a solid CPC background and experience coordinating with external firms (CPCs/CPAs).
**Key requirements**
- Preparation of monthly accounting closings (MX and US).
- Consolidation and presentation of binational financial statements (Bloom S. de R.L. and Bloom Digitals LLC).
- Review and supervision of AR/AP, payroll, vacation, commissions, and benefits prepared by the Payroll Assistant.
- Management of intercompany accounting: dividends, loans, transfers, and proper tax treatment.
- Coordination with external CPCs and CPAs, ensuring complete and timely deliverables.
- Implementation of internal controls and accounting best practices.
**Non-Negotiable Skills**
- Certified Public Accountant (CPC in Mexico).
- 5+ years of proven experience in Mexican accounting and taxation (SAT, IMSS, INFONAVIT).
- 3+ years of practical knowledge in U.S. bookkeeping (QuickBooks, Xero, or other software).
- 3+ years of experience with U.S. GAAP.




- Experience in intercompany accounting.
- Ability to work independently and liaise directly with external firms.
- Intermediate/advanced English (able to read and report in English).
- Currently living in Aguascalientes
**Desired skills**
- Experience in binational or multinational companies.
- Experience implementing ERP systems.
- Ability to create simple financial dashboards.
- Previous experience supervising small teams.
**Work conditions**
- **Schedule**:Monday to Friday from 09:00 to 13:00 CDMX
- Part-time role (with the opportunity to grow into a full-time position as Bloom scales).
