**Skills and Competencies**
- 4-5 years of relevant experience with credit analysis primarily, passionate about corporate and infrastructure finance.
- Validated and well-developed analytical and modelling skills.
- Strong written and verbal communication capabilities in Spanish and English.
- Strong abilities in Excel, Word and PowerPoint.
Programming knowledge is a plus.
- Ability to adapt to a changing environment and prioritize tasks accordingly.
**Education**
- Undergraduate/first-level degree (E.g. Bachelor's degree) required, such as economics, accounting, engineering, business administration, statistics, actuarial science.
Master's degree or CFA certification is a plus.
**Responsibilities**
- Conduct on-going credit analysis on a dedicated portfolio of companies and projects.
- Actively monitor portfolio and make recommendations for rating transitions in a timely fashion.
- Demonstrate credit rating judgment as evidenced by the ability to distinguish among entities and transactions at different credit ratings levels.
- Present credits efficiently and accurately in rating committees and other internal analytical meetings, formulate a coherent credit rationale and present this rationale in a persuasive fashion.
- Produce timely and relevant research on specific issuers, general credit trends, or sector related issues that is in-depth, high quality, informative and focused.
- Build and manage relationships with investors, advisors, and issuers.
- Lead issuer meetings, including presenting key credit rating factors optimally and asking probing questions that result in substantive dialog about key credit issues.
- Maintain credit files ensuring document accuracy and compliance with policies, accurately enter and update financial and credit information in internal databases.
- Assemble data and aid in the elaboration and delivery of reports of senior managers.
