**Job Summary**:
This is a position which is expected to function as a specialist with respect to a specific technical phase of the planning function and which generally falls within the major areas of releasing, Numerical Controls (NC) programming, processing, assembly processing, layout, work standards and manufacturing development.
**What You Will Do**:
- Supporting the manufacturing operation by providing tooling, processes, equipment, etc. needed and is done through coordination of a technical staff assigned to provide for the needs of the shop operation.
- Assignments include tool design, assembly, manufacturing processing, cost estimating, systems planning, layout, standards, releasing, etc. and requires the coordination of all disciplines.
- Incumbents have an assigned manufacturing/assembly area and through staff support provide tooling, machines and equipment to complete the operation.
- Coordinates the installation of new machines and equipment and process changes to provide the most efficient and economical manufacture.
Ensures optimum utilization of equipment and space by coordinating the layout of areas such as storage areas, test equipment, etc. to accommodate the changing production requirements.
- Coordinates release dates and availability of machines and equipment and material to maintain schedules and satisfy demand.
- Establishes standards and works with shop personnel to resolve problems related to process, tooling, equipment, etc.




- Ensures implementation of modern technology and follows to determine effectiveness of equipment and systems.
- Provides training, development and motivation for a team capable of completing objectives and implementing cost reduction projects and meeting requirements.
- Adheres to established standards, policies and practices relating to quality, cost reduction, safety, ergonomics, etc. in performing assigned duties.
**Degree Requirements**
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanic Engineering or related to field.
- Advanced English level required.
**Manufacturing Processes**
- This position requires thorough knowledge of manufacturing concepts, NPI development, procedures implementation, knowledge of hydraulic and mechanical machining attachments, etc.
- Tooling, work holding experience, for assembly and machining processes.
- Risk analysis for manufacturing processes.

**Manufacturing Standards, Procedures and Policies**:
- Strong Knowledge in Caterpillar 1E specs and GD&T.;
- Project planning and use of software such as Microsoft Project.
**Problem Management Process - MFG**:
- Ability to operate and resolve issues related to manufacturing problems.
- Data-driven decision making, use of Minitab.
**Additional Details**:
- This position is located in Cienega de Flores.
- Domestic relocation assistance is not available.
- This position will require to travel up to 10% of the time domestically and internationally.
- Work schedule is set for Monday to Friday 6:30am a 5pm.
