Our client is a fast-growing DTC pet brand with hundreds of thousands of customers across North America, and scaling fast.
They're building out their retention engine and need an email designer who can ship high-volume, conversion-ready email creative without sacrificing quality.This is not a brand design role.
Pretty doesn't always convert: the right combination of offer framing, layout, and visual hierarchy does.
You'll be producing revenue-driving campaigns and flows, fast, clean, and built to perform in the inbox, not on Dribbble.What You'll DoDesign high-volume email creative: promotional campaigns, product launches, and lifecycle flows (welcome, abandonment, post-purchase, winback)Execute quickly and accurately from briefs provided by the retention strategist.
A winning campaign needs 5 variants, not 5 daysDesign mobile-first, modular layouts that hold up at 600px and in dark mode: fast-loading, live text where it matters, no broken rendersBuild direct-response email structures: hero offer blocks, benefit callouts, before/afters, testimonial and UGC sections, urgency/offer emails, plain-text-style sendsProduce rapid A/B variants (hero, layout, CTA placement) and iterate based on performance data: clicks and revenue per send, not opensUse AI tools (Midjourney, Firefly, etc.) to scale output without dropping qualityDeliver production-ready, organized files: sliced, compressed,
