You will be responsible for developing, simulating, and generating production-ready embedded software code for Clarios Battery Management Systems (BMS).
Using MATLAB/Simulink and automated code generation tools, you will transform control strategies into highly optimized embedded software that ensures battery safety, longevity, and efficien cy.Key Responsibiliti es:Control Algorithm Developme nt: Design and develop control algorithms and state machines for BMS applications (e.g., Cell Balancing, State of Charge (SoC), State of Health (SoH), and fault diagnostics) usi ng MATLAB and Simul i nk.Model-Based Developme nt: Build, maintain, and execute Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) and Software-in-the-Loop (SIL) testing to validate control logic against system specificatio ns.Auto-Code Generati on:



Utili ze TargetL ink or Embedded Co der to convert verified Simulink models into production-quality, MISRA-C compliant embedded co de.Software Optimizati on: Optimize generated code for execution speed, memory footprint, and integration within automotive Electronic Control Units (ECU s).
Collaborati on: Work alongside Systems Engineers to interpret technical specifications and Hand-off generated code to the ECU integration te am.Required Qualificatio ns:Educati on: BE / BTech / ME / MTech in Electrical, Electronics, Controls, or Instrumentation Engineeri ng.Technical Experti se: Strong proficiency in MATLAB and Simul ink for model-based application desi gn.Code Gen Too ls: Hands-on experience with production code generation tools, specifical ly dSPACE TargetL ink or MathWor ks Embedded Co d er.Domain Knowled ge: Solid understanding of battery physics, cell characteristics, and fundament al Battery Management System (B MS) architectur es.Standar ds: Familiarity with automotive standards such as MISRA-C, ISO ***** (Functional Safety), and ASPI CE.
