About the Role
The Dirección de Operaciones role is a full-time, on-site position based in Dinamita, Durango, Mexico.
This role is responsible for overseeing daily plant, production and maintenance operations, ensuring that manufacturing activities meet quality, safety, and efficiency standards.
The role will oversee multiple plants (Santa Catarina, Dinamita, Lerdo, and Camargo plants), as well as the supply chain to warehouses in Texas; ensuring unit operation costs within the objective, and preparing the organizational and physical infrastructure for the company's growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor Degree in Industrial, Mechanical,



Mining or Chemical Engineering; MBA is desired but not required.
- 10 + years of experience in the mining, cement, quarry, or lime industry.
Required Skills
- Strong Operations Management skills, including experience overseeing manufacturing processes, resource allocation, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Demonstrated Analytical Skills for data-driven decision-making, performance monitoring, and process optimization.
- Effective Communication abilities for collaborating with cross-functional teams, reporting to leadership, and coordinating with external stakeholders.
- Project Management experience in planning, executing, and tracking operational and improvement projects.
- Knowledge of safety, quality, and environmental standards relevant to industrial operations.
- Ability to work on-site in Dinamita, DUR, with a hands-on approach to daily plant operations.
Preferred Skills
- Live in Torreon (near Dinamita, Durango), with traveling to Santa Catarina, Nuevo Leon and Texas.
(Open to change residency to Torreon.)
- Preferably with visa.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish.
Pay range and compensation package
Base Salary: $130,000 to $160,000 (pre-tax)
Anual Bonus: Up to 4 months' salary, based on the achievement of operational and strategic KPIs
