At Grupo Bocar , we are looking for an Automotive Direct Procurement Specialist to join our team.
This role will play a key part in supplier management and strategic sourcing of direct materials critical to our operations.
Location : Lerma
Key Responsibilities:
- Manage and negotiate with suppliers of direct materials within the automotive industry
- Ensure timely availability of materials in line with production requirements
- Develop and execute sourcing strategies focused on cost optimization and supply continuity
- Monitor and report key procurement KPIs (cost savings, delivery performance, quality)
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Engineering, Production, and Planning team s
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, International Business, Business Administration, or related field
- Proven experience in direct material procurement within the automotive sector
- Advanced English proficiency (mandatory) for international supplier interaction
- Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems
- Strong negotiation, analytical, and decision-making skills
