About the Role
As Line Section Coordinator , you will be responsible for the coordination, integration, and operational readiness of a defined production area within a manufacturing project.
Your primary responsibility will be to ensure that all technical, logistical, quality, infrastructure, installation, and commissioning activities are aligned and executed according to project objectives, timing, quality standards, safety requirements, and budget expectations.
Acting as the central interface between all project stakeholders, you will drive collaboration, resolve issues proactively, and support the successful implementation and handover of the assigned production section.
What You'll Actually Do
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate all project activities within the assigned production section.
- Serve as the primary interface between manufacturing, planning, logistics, quality, maintenance, construction teams, suppliers, and project management.
- Ensure alignment and integration of equipment, infrastructure, utilities, logistics concepts, and production processes.
- Monitor project schedules, milestones, risks, open issues, and corrective actions within the responsible area.
- Coordinate installation, modification, commissioning, ramp-up, and production readiness activities.
- Facilitate technical reviews, status meetings, and cross-functional workshops.
- Identify project risks, develop mitigation measures, and track implementation through closure.
- Ensure compliance with safety, quality, technical, and operational requirements.
- Support acceptance activities,



production trials, and operational handover.
- Drive issue resolution through structured escalation management and stakeholder alignment.
Project Management Capabilities
- Prepare and present regular project status reports to project and customer leadership.
- Maintain project documentation, action trackers, risk registers, and issue logs.
- Monitor milestone achievement, readiness status, and project KPIs.
- Track implementation progress and ensure closure of open items.
- Escalate critical issues impacting timing, quality, cost, safety, or operational readiness.
- Provide management with clear visibility on project status, risks, mitigation plans, and recovery actions.
- Coordinate and document project meetings, workshops, and technical reviews.
Expected Outcome
- Successful delivery of the assigned production section in a technically feasible, safe, operationally ready, and production-capable condition.
- Timely completion of installation, commissioning, and ramp-up activities while meeting project objectives for quality, cost, functionality, and schedule.
- Effective coordination between all stakeholders, resulting in smooth implementation and successful handover to operations
What We Are Looking For
- 7+ years of experience in industrial manufacturing environments, preferably automotive, including production, manufacturing engineering, or industrialization projects.
- 5+ years of experience in project management, equipment installation, production launches, commissioning, or factory transformation projects.
- Strong expertise in production line integration, manufacturing processes, stakeholder coordination, risk management, and production readiness.
- Advanced proficiency in MS Project, SAP, MS Office 365,



Power BI/Excel, with working knowledge of AutoCAD and production layout planning tools.
- Preferred Background:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Mechatronics, or Manufacturing Engineering.
- Advanced English; German is a plus.
- Experience in greenfield/brownfield projects, equipment commissioning, ramp-up, and cross-functional manufacturing coordination.
- Strong leadership, escalation management, and executive reporting capabilities.
