In this role, you won't just manage policies; you will partner directly with the General Manager and senior leadership to shape site culture, lead critical labor relations strategies, and drive organizational change.
If you are an HR professional who thrives at the intersection of business strategy, employee relations, and world-class manufacturing, we want to hear from you.Key ResponsibilitiesLabor Relations & Union Strategy: Serve as the company's Bargaining Agent for local labor negotiations.
Develop local bargaining strategies, interpret collective bargaining agreements, and maintain proactive, positive union-management relations.Strategic Leadership: Provide direct and indirect leadership to a diverse team of HR professionals.
Establish 3-to-5-year organizational objectives and manage department goals and budgets.Executive Advisory: Act as a trusted counsel to the General Manager and site leadership on all organizational changes, workforce planning, restructuring, and talent assessments.Talent & Culture Management: Lead the site-wide rollout of Corporate HR programs (Compensation/Benefits, Performance Development, Employee Engagement Surveys, and Talent Management).
Compliance & Investigations: Conduct thorough internal investigations with the utmost confidentiality, partnering with legal counsel as needed to mitigate risk and ensure a fair, compliant workplace.What You BringExperience: 7 to 10 years of progressive HR experience, with a heavy emphasis on Labor Relations and Union negotiations within Mexico.Education: Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Law, or a related field (or an equivalent combination of education and experience).
Industry Acumen: Deep understanding of Mexican labor laws, government regulations, and ideally, experience working within World Class Manufacturing (WCM) or Six Sigma environments.Leadership Style: A proven ability to coach leaders, negotiate with tact, and build cross-functional relationships across all levels of an organization.Technical Savvy: Experience with modern HRIS platforms and proficiency in standard corporate tools (Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio).
Working ConditionsThis role is fully on-site in Apodaca, NL.As an HR leader in a manufacturing environment, routine presence on the production floor is expected
