**About the Client**Evans Transportation Services is a Waukesha, Wisconsin-based third-party logistics (3PL) provider with over 40 years of experience delivering end-to-end transportation management solutions across North America.As one of the country's first 100 licensed freight brokers, Evans has grown into a sophisticated, technology-driven 3PL offering Full Truckload, LTL, Parcel Optimization, Project Logistics, and cross-border Mexico services.Evans is known for fast response times, carrier invoice auditing,



and a highly configurable TMS that gives shippers real transparency across their supply chain.Their high-profile shippers expect consistent service — and that consistency starts with the operations team behind every load.
**What You'll Do**- Retrieve and verify 4-corner open-deck load photos at pickup to meet compliance requirements on high-profile customer freight.
- Chase, retrieve, and upload Proof of Delivery and supporting documentation within 24 hours of delivery.
- Maintain 95%+ compliance with Macro Point / ELD tracking across your assigned loads.
- Run outbound check-calls to drivers and carrier dispatchers at every milestone — dispatch, in-transit, arrival, and delivery.
- Keep the TMS clean and current — load status, milestones, and exception notes accurate in real time.
- Flag and communicate at-risk loads to your Carrier Procurement and Account Manager partners before issues escalate.
- Maintain auditable digital records (photos, POD, BOL, exception notes) for compliance, audits, and customer reviews.
- Adhere to chain-of-custody protocols for high-profile customer freight.
- Step up during peak coverage periods, holidays, and produce/construction season demand surges.
- Grow into adjacent areas through cross-training and special projects across the Operations department.
**Qualifications**- 1-3+ years of experience in transportation, logistics, freight brokerage,



or BPO support of US freight operations.
- Strong written and verbal English (B2/C1 or higher) — non-negotiable for daily carrier and team communication.
- Working knowledge of a TMS platform (MercuryGate, McLeod, Turvo, or similar).
- Comfortable managing *****+ active loads concurrently without dropping a beat.
- High attention to detail — accuracy on photos, PODs, and milestone notes is everything.
- Strong communication and persuasion skills — you know how to motivate a driver or dispatcher to do the right thing.
- Calm under deadline pressure, self-directed, and a strong team player.
- Proven problem-solver with sharp analytical instincts.
- Reliable home-office setup: stable broadband, backup power, and a headset.
