**About Carrier****- About the role**The **Mechanical Engineer**will execute elements of product development activities and testing.Responsible for enhancing commonality and optimization of product and components.
**- Key Responsibilities**As a **Mechanical Engineer**, you'll be responsible for:- Manage elements of product development activities including cost estimates, implementation of standard specifications, drawing board layout and interpretation, and development of performance or maintenance requirements.
- Execute test and qualification for systems, sub-systems, and components.Review test results in relation to design or rated specifications and test objectives and modify or adjust equipment to meet specifications.
- Enhance commonality and optimization of product & components.
- Test models of alternate designs and processing methods to assess operating condition effects and necessity of modification.
- Produce parts, specifications, designs, or sketches for machines, components, systems or work orders / purchase requests- Work with quality clinic and related departments to support the test and verification of field issues.
**- Requirements**We are looking for people who are analitical and experience dealing with managers and stakeholders.If this is you, get in touch.As a minimum you must have:- Advanced English.




- Requires advanced knowledge obtained through a university degree, combined with experience.
- BOM Knowledge.
- Practical to substantial knowledge of Carrier organization, programs or systems with the ability to make enhancements and leverage in daily work.
- University Degree or equivalent a minimum of 5 years prior relevant experience or an advanced degree in a related field and a minimum of 3 years' experience.
- Knowledge of refrigeration systems.
- Reading and interpretation of electrical diagrams.
**- Although not necessary, it would be nice if you have**:- HVAC background experience.
