Join to apply for the Senior Staff Accountant role at LatamCentThe CEO's Right Hand is a strategic finance and accounting firm supporting U.S. small and mid‐sized businesses.The team partners with CEOs to deliver financial clarity, operational rigor, and scalable accounting infrastructure.Clients rely on TCRH for hands‐on leadership across accounting, finance, and FP&A.About; the RoleWe are hiring a Senior Staff Accountant based in Latam to support multiple U.S.-based clients with full‐cycle accounting, month‐end close, and high‐quality financial reporting.This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a consulting environment, brings structure to complex workflows, and takes ownership of clean, accurate books.What You'll DoAccrual Accounting & Month‐End CloseOwn full month‐end close for assigned clientsPrepare journal entries (accruals, deferrals, reclasses, payroll, intercompany)Complete balance sheet reconciliations (cash, AR, AP, credit cards, loans, prepaids, fixed assets, accruals, deferred revenue)Perform P&L; reviews and variance analysisMaintain standardized close checklists and workpapersPayroll & Sales TaxReview and post payroll entries (wages, benefits, employer taxes)Reconcile payroll reports to the GLMap GL accounts between payroll systems and QuickBooksApply basic sales and use tax principles for proper transaction codingCoordinate with external payroll or sales tax providers as neededA/P, A/R, and Process OwnershipBuild and maintain structured A/P and A/R workflowsReview staff‐level processing for accuracy and classificationManage vendor and customer records, payment terms,
and aging reportsEnsure processes align with internal controls and documentation standardsRevenue, Billing, and Project AccountingSupport revenue recognition for service‐based businessesReconcile unbilled revenue, WIP, and deferred revenueAlign project hours, fees, and change orders with accounting recordsPrepare draft monthly and quarterly financial statements under U.S. GAAPComplete budget‐to‐vigente and period comparisonsSummarize key drivers and insights for internal leadership and clientsAct as day‐to‐day accounting contact for assigned clientsCommunicate timelines, issues, and deliverables clearlyProvide guidance to junior accountants and review selected workQualificationsBachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance4–7 years of progressive accounting experienceStrong understanding of U.S. GAAP, accrual accounting, payroll accounting, and core financial statementsExperience in multi‐client or consulting environments preferredAdvanced QuickBooks Online (QBO ProAdvisor or willing to obtain within 90 days)Experience with Bill.com, Gusto, ADP, or similar toolsStrong Excel or Google Sheets skills (Excel certification preferred)Experience mapping GL accounts between payroll and accounting systemsFamiliarity with sales tax conceptsCore CompetenciesTechnical excellence in accrual accounting and reconciliationsStrong process orientation across A/P and A/ROwnership mindset with minimal supervisionConfidence in client‐facing communicationHigh attention to detail and clean documentationCollaborative and able to support junior staffPreferredSpreadsheet Sync experienceExperience with project‐based or professional services businesses#J-*****-Ljbffr
