Where You'll Make a Difference Serve as the subject matter expert for fragrance-related data domains, including formulas, ingredients, analytical results, and regulatory information.
Define, maintain, and govern business rules, taxonomies, metadata, and data standards to ensure consistency and usability across the organization.
Monitor data quality, identify issues, perform root cause analyses, and drive corrective actions with business and technical teams.
Partner with R&D;, Regulatory, Marketing, Manufacturing, and IT teams to ensure trusted, analytics-ready data.
Manage data governance activities, including data lineage, business glossaries, data catalogs, and stewardship processes.
Ensure compliance with internal policies and external regulatory requirements while safeguarding sensitive and proprietary information.
Support the development and adoption of data products that enable innovation,



consumer insights, and business decision-making.
Drive data literacy initiatives, governance training, and best practices across scientific and business communities.
Act as a bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, translating business needs into data requirements and actionable solutions.
What Makes You the Right Fit Bachelor's or Master's degree in Data Management, Information Systems, Chemistry, Business, or a related field.
3–5 years of experience in Data Governance, Data Stewardship, Data Quality, Data Management, or related analytical roles.
Strong understanding of metadata management, data lineage, master data management, and governance frameworks.
Experience working with data governance and metadata management tools such as Atlan, Collibra, Informatica, Talend, or Alation.
Proficiency in SQL for data querying, profiling, analysis, and validation.
Experience managing large, complex datasets within scientific, chemical, manufacturing, or product development environments.
Knowledge of modern data platforms such as Snowflake, Databricks, Redshift, or similar technologies.
Familiarity with data privacy, security,



and compliance requirements including GDPR, CCPA, or equivalent frameworks.
Excellent communication, stakeholder management, analytical thinking, and problem-solving skills.
How Would You Stand Out?
Experience within the Fragrance, Flavor, Chemical, Consumer Goods, or R&D; laboratory environment.
Proficiency in Python or R for data analysis and process automation.
CDMP® Data Management Fundamentals certification or other relevant data governance certifications.
