Monitors and analyze key performance indicators related to freight cost, transit time, supplier performance, and delivery execution to identify improvement opportunities and support business objectives.Ensures import documentation, including Bills of Lading and international freight invoices, is received, validated, and maintained accurately and on time to support operational visibility, customs compliance, and Manifestación de Valor Electrónica (MVE) requirements.Coordinates logistics providers and internal stakeholders to ensure service excellence, timely deliveries, issue resolution, invoice processing,
and continuous improvement of inbound transportation operations.Job Requirements:3–5 years of experience in Logistics, Supply Chain, Import Operations, or International Transportation, including supplier management and KPI analysis.Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, International Business, Engineering, or related field.Experience with international freight, import documentation, and Incoterms.Advanced English proficiency.Skills:Analytical thinking and data-driven decision making.Planning, organization, and priority management.KPI monitoring and supplier performance analysis.Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.Attention to detail and compliance mindset.Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.Customer-focused and adaptable to changing business needs.What you'll be doing:?
Plan, prioritize, and execute daily inbound transportation activities across FCL, LCL, Air, LTL, FTL, parcel, and security services, ensuring operations are performed according to agreed service levels.
Proactively identify, resolve, and escalate operational deviations with suppliers, Control Tower, Security providers, and the Inbound / Outbound Supervisor to prevent delays and service disruptions.Coordinate and follow up on daily cargo deliveries from origin, ports, border, customs locations, and other transfer points to the Distribution Center, ensuring execution according to plan, data accuracy, and timely communication with internal stakeholders.
Support weekly and monthly planning activities, including volume forecasts for trucking, security services, transportation capacity, custody requirements, and DC delivery planning, ensuring supplier readiness and operational continuity.Monitor, analyze, and report inbound logistics KPIs, including supplier performance, transit times, freight cost, delivery compliance, operational incidents, demurrage, detention, and service level performance.
Identify trends, root causes, and improvement opportunities to support business reviews and corrective action plans.Ensure timely and accurate receipt, validation, and follow-up of required import and transportation documentation, including Bills of Lading, international freight invoices, Carta Porte, CCP files, and other shipment records required for operational visibility, compliance, and Manifestación de Valor Electrónica processes.Update and maintain operational reports to provide visibility to internal teams regarding departures, arrivals, new shipments, delivery priorities, receipts, DC arrivals, exceptional bookings, and shipment status.
Ensure information is complete, accurate, and updated within required timelines.
Ensure KPI's information (Performance and Cost) is accurate and timely updated to elaborate internal Business RevisionsEnsure Inbound carriers issue Carta Porte according to local regulations to avoid operational delays.
This includes random revisions to reduce operational risks for – IN TRANSIT – cargo.Manage freight billing follow-up with inbound suppliers, ensuring invoices are submitted correctly, completely, and according to service contracts, negotiated rates, operational data requirements, brand allocation, and Statement of Account follow-up.Audit, validate, and approve invoices routed through Shipment Management / CASS based on contracted rates, approved services, shipment details, and supporting documentation, preventing duplicate, incorrect, or non-compliant payments to suppliers.Monitor and follow up on empty container returns from the Distribution Center to ports or assigned locations according to service level agreements, minimizing additional costs and operational exposure.
Demurrages and detention analysis and follow up (days, rates, billing per brand and resolution to payment through platforms and SOAs).
