Your JobThe Benefits Analyst is responsible for administering and enhancing the organization's benefits programs while ensuring compliance with applicable regulations and company policies.
This role supports employees by providing guidance on benefits-related matters, managing vendor relationships, analyzing benefits data, and driving continuous improvement initiatives.
The ideal candidate is highly analytical, detail-oriented, customer-focused, and able to effectively communicate with employees and stakeholders at all levels of the organization.What You Will Do in Your RoleAdminister and oversee employee benefits programs, including health, retirement, wellness, and related benefit offerings.Manage leave of absence programs and coordinate with third-party administrators (TPAs) to ensure effective administration.Conduct market research and benchmarking studies to evaluate the competitiveness of benefits programs.Ensure compliance with all applicable federal, state, and local regulations related to benefits administration.Manage and maintain compliance documentation, including Summary Plan Descriptions (SPDs), required communications, plan documentation, Form **** filings,
and HIPAA requirements.Support healthcare reporting and benefits data management activities.Analyze compensation and benefits data to support strategic decision-making and continuous improvement initiatives.Investigate and resolve employee benefits issues and inquiries in a timely and professional manner.Collaborate with external vendors and service providers to optimize benefit offerings and service delivery.Develop and deliver employee communications regarding benefits programs and related processes.Provide analytical support and reporting to leadership for benefits-related initiatives and program effectiveness.Partner with HR and business leaders to recommend improvements that enhance employee experience and operational efficiency.Who You Are (Basic Qualifications)Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.Minimum of 5 years of professional experience in benefits administration or a related field.Experience administering employee benefits programs and supporting leave management processes.Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including advanced Excel skills.Experience working with HRIS systems and benefits administration platforms.Strong analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Ability to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism.Ability to work independently and effectively within a team-oriented environment.What Will Put You Ahead5-10 years of progressive experience in benefits administration.Experience managing third-party administrators and external benefits vendors.Knowledge of healthcare reporting requirements, compliance regulations, SPDs, HIPAA, and Form **** administration.Experience conducting benefits benchmarking and market analysis.Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint,
