Position DescriptionThe QA Engineer will be part of our engineering team and work alongside Product and DevOps in supporting and maintaining our Software-as-a-Service platform along with the following tasks:Develop and implement comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test strategies for new and existing products.Collaborate with cross-functional teams (developers, product managers, and designers) to understand requirements and define quality goals.Identify, document, and track bugs through to resolution using Azure Devops.Participate in deployments as neededCommunicating test results and status reports in an agile environmentRequired Qualifications3+ years applicable experience in QA Support for a Software-as-a-Service platform.Skills & ExperienceValidating the web applications and backend systems meet requirements and design specificationsReviewing functional business requirements and design specifications to ensure understanding of deliverables such as test strategy, test plans and test casesDeveloping, documenting, and maintaining test cases and other test artifacts like test dataWell versed in SQL & API testing with tools like postmanExecuting and evaluating manual or automated test cases and report test resultsPublishing and communicating test results and test plan statuses using established processesWorking closely/collaboratively with cross-functional teams (Dev, Management, Operations)Providing estimates for test effortsStrong communication skills; discussing complex technical concepts to engineers and non-engineersExperience with Git version control systemAgile software development principles
