As a product development partner, the company focuses on innovative, sustainable solutions that meet evolving consumer needs while sustaining the planet.Key Roles & ResponsibilitiesLead the end‐to‐end development, validation, and implementation of new packaging solutions for finished goods, ensuring alignment with customer requirements, manufacturing capabilities, quality standards, and business objectives.Drive packaging innovation and continuous improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities with raw material and packaging suppliers to optimize cost, sustainability, efficiency, and material handling while maintaining product integrity and performance.Manage packaging development projects through established project management methodologies, ensuring adherence to timelines, milestones, resource requirements, and successful project execution.Establish and maintain packaging specifications for purchasing and operation procedures that ensure compliance with regulatory, customer, quality, and supply chain requirements throughout the product lifecycle.Provide technical leadership during new product and packaging trials, validating packaging performance, manufacturability, and suitability for commercial implementation.Design,
coordinate, and analyze packaging trials and performance testing under a variety of operational, transportation, and storage conditions to mitigate risks and ensure product protection.Develop and manage strategic relationships with packaging and raw material suppliers, leveraging technical expertise and market insights to support innovation and business growth.Serve as the primary packaging subject matter expert, collaborating with cross‐functional teams, customers, suppliers, and manufacturing sites to resolve technical challenges and deliver packaging solutions that support organizational objectives.Influence packaging‐related decisions by providing technical recommendations, risk assessments, and cost‐benefit analyses to stakeholders across the organization.Knowledge and ExperienceBachelor's degree in Business, Supply Chain Management, Industrial Engineering or a related field.At least 10 years of experience in food packaging, preferably in a B2B environment.Knowledge of operation and production areas and facilities.Experience with print production and understanding of file setup and printing parameters.Proficiency in PowerPoint and Excel.Advanced written and verbal English skills.
