**Position Summary**:
Supervises the daily manufacturing operations performed in a shift or production line, ensuring volume, quality, safety and cost goals are met.
Provides hiring, promotion and disciplinary action recommendations, as well as performance evaluation and feedback for direct reports.
**Major Responsibilities**:
- Coordinates and directs daily the activities of the production department to maximize productivity and minimize cost while maintaining quality.
- Ensure all safety procedures are followed and metrics are met.
- In charge of continues improvement program.
- Coordinates and promotes teamwork with other departments.
- Investigates, trouble-shoots and provides solutions to production problems.
- Provides direct supervision and training for production workers.
- Promote great work environment.
- Aids in planning, prioritizing,



and managing production areas to minimize disruptions to manufacturing schedules.
- Inspects product to verify production specifications are met.
**Required Education / Experience / Skills**:
Bachelor's degree or equivalent related experience
2+ years / Green Belt in Lean Six Sigma acquired within 3 years; Black Belt in Lean Sigma preferred
**Travel**:25 %
**Language**:Spanish / English 50% desirable
